Slowly but surely

One of the joys of January in Britain is that slowly but surely the days are getting longer.   This morning I was going through my images from last year and came across these that reminded me of the joys that come with summer.   I was one the phone with a friend who is working out in southern Spain this afternoon and if to reinforce that we really do have different weather to continental Europe he has had to contend with snow.   Here we just have greyness and then more greyness and just incase you haven’t had enough some more grey.  No frost, no snow but days and weeks of grey.   Oh I can’t wait for the days to get warmer and the sun to shine once more… this is wishing my life away!
